ABOUT ME
My name is Leslie Mejia, and I am from Honduras. I am a single mother of a 17-year-old son named Isaac, who is my pride and joy.
I left everything behind in my country, including my beloved son Isaac, to pursue and build the mission of my life.
I have been living in US for about 3 years. I arrived in Indiana in May 2023 and worked at a Mexican restaurant for about 4 months. Then, I moved to Florida, where I have been working as a Nanny Live-in for Jewish families since October 2023.
MY LIFE MISSION
I do this work with a mission that goes far beyond my profession—it is the purpose of my life.
During the pandemic in 2020, in the middle of deep financial hardship, I turned to HaShem (God) seeking clarity and asking, “What is my purpose in this world?” Through that time of reflection and faith, I understood that my purpose is to serve Him by helping build a city of refuge in Honduras—a place where children can be cared for, nourished, and guided with intention, dignity, and a clear sense of purpose, so they grow with a character developed in firmness, strength, courage, and faith.
This mission is the heart behind everything I do and the reason I support children and families with love, responsibility, and dedication.
EXPERIENCE
I have over 3 years of experience caring for infants and young children through community service in Honduras.
Since October 2023, I have worked as a Nanny Live-i nfor Jewish families, caring for children of different ages. I am familiar with kosher homes and Shabbat routines, and I have helped with Shabbat dinners and Jewish holidays such as Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Hanukkah.
I also help with basic cleaning,laundry, organizing closets, and preparing healthy meals for children.
AVAILABILITY
I am available Live-in full time per week until 12 hours daily.
